We are making plants easier to find and connecting gardeners directly with independent nurseries.

The Problem

Finding a specific plant is frustrating. You have to visit dozens of websites, each with different formats, outdated catalogs, and scattered information. The current system is broken. It leaves gardeners exhausted and keeps incredible small-scale nurseries invisible to the people who want to support them.

Our Solution

You search once, we show results from all of our registered nurseries.

Plantpixel brings together catalogs from independent nurseries into a single platform. We don’t grow the plants, and we don’t hide who does. We provide the search engine that lets you compare prices and availability across the market, so you can click through and buy directly from the source.

Our Philosophy

We are building this platform on three core values:

• Grow Independent: We exist to level the playing field. Specialized nurseries are the stewards of biodiversity. By making them easier to find, we help preserve plant varieties that mass production would let go extinct.
• Radical Transparency: We are not a middleman trying to white-label someone else's work. When you find a plant on Plantpixel, you will always know exactly which nursery is selling it, where they are located, and how they ship.
• Quality Data: A plant isn't just a product row on a spreadsheet. It’s a living thing with specific needs. We believe search results should be standardized, accurate, and scientifically correct.

Our Vision

Today, we offer a robust search experience across a curated network of trusted nurseries. But we have a long road ahead. We are committed to building a platform that evolves with your garden.

Here is what we are working on next:

• Deep Taxonomy & Filtering: We are moving beyond simple names. Soon, you will be able to filter the entire database by climate, soil pH, light requirements, and specific attributes like edibility or medicinal use.
• The Economics of Shipping: Buying online can be unpredictable. We are building tools to standardize shipping data, allowing you to accurately compare the "landed cost" of a plant so there are no surprises at checkout.
• Community & Collections: Gardening is personal. We are developing features that allow you to track your wishlists, receive alerts for rare cultivars, and get notified when prices drop.
• Informative Nursery Profiles: We want you to know who you are buying from. We are building detailed profiles for our partner nurseries, highlighting their specialties, their stories, and their verified reviews.
